Different Dyna Styles
As I elaborated last week I test rode a Heritage and it cemented in my mind that another Dyna is the best option for me.
But what style of Dyna? I have to change several aspects of the bike from the get go like bars, seat, & foot controls but there is also the required pipe, air intake and tuning that all Harleys require.
There are two that resonate with me the most. Styles that appeal visually but also represent a bike I would happily ride across country on.
The first is what I consider to be the 'Bobber" Style
The second is what I Call the "Club Style" Style
Logically a smash up of the two makes the most sense.
J&P Cycles built something very similar to what I want to achieve.

- Spoke Wheels
- Preferably 21/18
- Solo Seat
- High bars
- Lower suspension
- Forward Controls
The second is what I Call the "Club Style" Style
- Usually Tbars and a Fairing (though i'm not a fan of either)
- Two up seat
- Pillion Pegs
- Mid controls
- Higher performance suspension
- Black out treatment
- Cast Wheels
- Dual Front Disks
Logically a smash up of the two makes the most sense.

Or this RSD take.
Decisions decisions.....
